Go Beyond With Bryer
Meet Bryer! He was introduced to BEYOND Studios by fellow trainer (and bestie!) Britney Grignon and, like so many, became hooked on the intense workouts at BEYOND500. Read on to find out what it’s like to go BEYOND with Bryer and when you can book his next BEYOND500 class.
BEYOND: How did you become a member of the BEYOND family?
Bryer: I first caught wind of BEYOND Studios five years ago when my family friend/“older sister” Brittany Grignon began instructing at BEYOND. I frequently would come out to support and get a great workout in. Once the BEYOND500 concept was introduced two years ago immediately I was hooked on this workout. I started out as a class participant, and when I heard about the opportunity to become an instructor I was excited to work for one of the best workout studios in Dallas. I have been at BEYOND500 since December 2015 and consider myself blessed and lucky to be a part of it.
BEYOND: What can clients expect when taking your BEYOND500 classes?
Bryer: High Energy, loud music and direct instructing. I’ll push you to your limits and can guarantee you will leave feeling accomplish and wanting more.
BEYOND: What’s your favorite BEYOND500 exercise?
Bryer: I’m all about the core work using controlled/slow work on the Pilates chair, which burns and carves the abs out. Plus, I can’t deny the benefits of sprinting away on the Woodway Curve. I love seeing how fast I can go while trying to beat my past record.
BEYOND: When not leading a BEYOND500 class what are you up to?
Bryer: When I’m not teaching at BEYOND500 I’m spending my time managing my remodeling and construction business, as well as modeling and acting with the Campbell Agency.
BEYOND: What days can clients book your classes?
Bryer: Clients can book my classes at BEYOND500 on Monday evenings at 5:45 p.m. and 7 p.m., Thursday evenings at 5:45 p.m. and 7 p.m., Friday mornings at 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. and Friday evenings at 4:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.
BEYOND: How did you start your fitness journey?
Bryer: My fitness journey began in high school when I competed in basketball, football, swimming and tennis. In college, I began modeling and expanded my fitness regime to include hot yoga, Pilates principles and BEYOND500.
BEYOND: What is your go-to post workout snack?
Bryer: A Gladiator Protein shake from SmoothieKing.
BEYOND: What’s your favorite training gear/apparel?
Bryer: Shout out to my lemons! Lululemon is by far the best training gear/apparel. Such a high level of quality and thought goes into this clothing. They even make their clothing workout specific, so you can always find the right gear for your favorite type of workout.
BEYOND: What’s your idea of going BEYOND?
Bryer: My idea of going BEYOND is Carpe Diem––seizing the day. Pushing yourself to the limits in all aspects of life: physically, mentally, spiritually and professionally. Getting outside of your comfort zone and being fearless in whatever you do while never backing down from an opportunity and always rising to the occasion. After all, you’ll never truly know what you’re made of until your limits are tested. Most of the time you’ll come out of a situation with a new understanding and surprising yourself.
